Featherweight Titanium 196 is a truly revolutionary product when it comes to weight and efficiency. Weighing in at only 196 grams it offers the same level of suppression as far heavier and bigger suppressors. More accurately the Featherweight Titanium weighs only 6 grams per dB sound reduction. This translates to a lot of sound suppression in a light and small suppressor. This low weight and size preserves the natural balance of the rifle.

Materials:
These silencers utilize Grade 5 Titanium on the thread and the core of the high-pressure chamber. Here, the temperature can exceed the melting point of aluminium. Titan’s superior characteristics in terms of weight, strength and temperature resistance is therefore essential to create a light and robust silencer with longevity. We are using high-strength aerospace aluminium on the part that are less exposed to heat, such as encapsulation and anterior lamellas. This is a material with a superior relation between strength and weight, which enables a very light but strong construction.

Design:
The silencers are in the classic streamlined Freyr & Devik design. The tapered shape is also optimised for strength. It also allows the silencer to glide more smoothly through denser vegetation. The raised exit hole also reduces water entry when hunting in rain. Water entering a fouled suppressor may lead to crystal formation. All Freyr & Devik silencers can be opened easily without the use of tools. This simplifies maintenance, cleaning and drying after hunting in the rain.
